These lab, animal and human studies, conducted by reputable institutions over the last several decades, have shown that hydroxytyrosol and tyrosol have powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and anti-oxidant properties.*

Our unique olive fruit extract is a proprietary blend of key olive polyphenols derived from olives using an all-natural process.

Dr. Michael Morse, our Chief Medical Officer, in conjunction with a medical team in Spain, worked to develop PureVida ® our most advanced nutritional product. From that collaboration, our other products, CardiOLive® and OliPura® Heart, Joint, Daily Living and RX were born.

The team focused on developing formulations that they believed would support the body’s fight against chronic inflammation. These efforts produced the products our doctor formulated to produce clinical level results in our customers. The PureVida® product was clinically tested and determined to significantly reduce CRP levels (C-reactive protein, a key marker of inflammation) in the blood and, reduced pain from the joints of the patients** High levels of CRP in the blood are believed to indicate inflammation is present in the body. ** In a prospective, multicenter, pilot study of 45 postmenopausal women (mean age 59 years) with Stage 0-IIIA hormone receptor−positive breast cancer receiving stable doses of adjuvant aromatase inhibitor therapy for 2 to 5 years from their diagnosis, PureVida® significantly reduced CRP (C-reactive protein, a key marker of inflammation) levels (p<0.05). In 45 patients examined for safety, reported adverse events (AEs) included abdominal pain in 1 patient (2.2%), constipation in 5 patients (11.1%), headache in 3 patients (6.7%), and abnormal product taste (fish taste) in 14 patients (31.1%). No patients had to discontinue therapy due to AEs. This study was conducted by Oliventures. There has been substantial separate research into the potential benefits of each of the ingredients in PureVida. The PureVida trial has not been peer reviewed and more research is needed before drawing any final conclusions.
